Watercolor Sketching

I take my sketchbook with me wherever I go. Really, everywhere. Babysitting, shopping, hiking.
One of my sketchbooks is small enough to fit in my pocketbook along with a small watercolor palette, and a few pens and pencils.

Another great place to sketch is at a restaurant.

I've even sketched at the mall, the grocery store, museums, and the doctor's office.
The first painting I sold was done at a car wash!
You never know when or where an idea will hit you, so it's best to carry your sketchbook everywhere.
